THE STORY
She was the first Australian-born international film star of the silent screen and he was the first naturalistic Australian film director of the era.
Together, Lottie Lyell and Raymond Longford created a priceless union that would birth the modern Australian film Industry and revolutionize the world of film across the globe.

When the worlds of young aspiring actress Lottie Lyell and theatre extraordinaire Raymond Longford collide in the early 1910’s, the two form a fast friendship and formulate a plan to take the Australian entertainment industry by storm.

Together Lottie and Raymond embark on a journey of ambition, talent and deep articulation of the arts, resulting in a plethora of Australian film hits that effectively launch the Australian film industry onto a global platform.


As their careers continue to peak, Lottie and and Raymond suffer with personal devastation, finding deep passion and consolation within each other.
Their relationship is put to the test when Lottie is struck with a grave illness and Raymond must come to grips with the possibility of losing the love of his life and success as he knows it.
